Get ready for that wet dog smell -- It's a puppy pool party to benefit the Baltimore Humane Society!
Bring your well-behaved pups to the Middle Mill Social Pool (9700 Middle Mill Dr.) on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $15 per family. The rain date is Wednesday, Sept. 7.
The event is sponsored by the Owings Mills New Town Community Association, Inc. and all of the proceeds benefit the Baltimore Humane Society in Reisterstown.

Third Annual Blessing of the Animals
Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park 1601 Nicodemus Rd., Reisterstown, MD, United StatesJoin us for our 3rd annual Pet Blessing event on Sunday, October 2, from 2-3pm. It is a tradition in the Catholic church to hold blessings for household pets on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Saint Francis is the patron saint of animals and the environment.
Father Patrick M. Carrion from Saint Bernadette Parish, will be at Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park to perform an in-person Pet Blessing for all household pets. The public is invited to attend with their pets. Father Patrick will also bless the ashes of pets who have passed for families who wish to bring them.
