Kitten season is approaching, and we need your help!

Any kittens that we get under 8 weeks of age need a foster to grow and develop in the safety of a home environment.

That means they need a human to house them, feed them, socialize them, bring them to regular shelter vet visits, and love them. Once the kittens are 8 weeks old, they are brought back to BHS to get fixed and placed for adoption. It is a critical component of the kitten adoption process, and we can’t do it without you!

No prior experience is necessary. All pet food and litter are provided. Commitments can range from 1-to 8 weeks in duration.

On Sunday, March 6th, we will be holding a class called “Fostering Kittens 101” from 12 pm-2 pm to teach anyone interested in this rewarding experience how to become a kitten foster and care for the kittens. To RSVP, sign up here at https://volunteersignup.org/PY73B or email [email protected].
