Anyone whose pet has died, who has been lost, or is ailing/aging is welcome to join the group. The group meets the first Tuesday evening of each month from 7 pm – 9 pm.

The group is a haven where individuals can freely talk about their pet knowing others are interested in hearing their story. It is a place of emotional and practical support, helping participants cope with their loss. Please join our free, non-denominational group, led by a bereavement counselor. You do not need to have your pet buried in Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park to join the group. All are welcome!

Kids-4-K9s Teen Summer Program

The Baltimore Humane Society is teaming up with Kids-4-K9s, Inc. to offer a unique summer program at the animal shelter for Baltimore teens. The Program is part of a broader shared mission to increase awareness and promote humane treatment of animals in the community. It is designed specifically for high school students ages 16-18 who have an interest in animal welfare and playing an active role in preventing mistreatment of animals. Deadline to register is June 20, 2021.

10th Annual Pet Memorial Sunday Event

A celebration of the lives of all of the beloved pets we have lost. Join us on the grounds of Baltimore Humane Society at our historical pet cemetery for a day set aside just to remember and honor our lost pets' lives and memories

2nd Annual Blessing of the Animals

Belvedere Square Trick or Treat

BRING THE PUP AND STRUT YOUR STUFF IN THE BELVEDERE SQUARE PET COSTUME CONTEST!

It's all part of Belvedere Square’s Annual “Trick or Treat at the Square” on Saturday, October 23rd from 12-3pm!. Join in this fun-filled Halloween celebration for the young and young at heart. Among the treats for families: music by DJ Chris, a spooky dance lesson and performance by The White Marsh Ballet Academy, surprises from Square merchants, food and drink specials, a costume contest (18 and under), free pumpkins (while supply lasts), and the return of trunk-or-treating! Ghosts and goblins welcome!

All activities are free, with the exception of the costume contest, which has a $5 entry fee. 100% of the proceeds from the contest will benefit the Baltimore Humane Society.

OMNTCA’s Doggie Paddle 2022

Get ready for that wet dog smell -- It's a puppy pool party to benefit the Baltimore Humane Society!
Bring your well-behaved pups to the Middle Mill Social Pool (9700 Middle Mill Dr.) on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $15 per family. The rain date is Wednesday, Sept. 7.

The event is sponsored by the Owings Mills New Town Community Association, Inc. and all of the proceeds benefit the Baltimore Humane Society in Reisterstown.
