Bmore Kind Pet Food Bank

Anyone in financial need who is unable to pay for their pet’s food is welcome to receive help from our Bmore Kind Pet Food Bank, sponsored by MaxAir.  The food bank is located on our grounds at 1601 Nicodemus Road in Reisterstown.

Food-Bank-Signs-Bmore-KindPart of our no-kill shelter’s mission is to end the homelessness of pets in our community and we hope that the pet food bank will help pet owners who have fallen on hard times to be able to keep their pets.

Pet owners needing help can come once a month at their convenience during regular operating hours.  Baltimore Humane Society staff will then portion out a month’s supply of food for the number and size of pets that each person has.  Food is available for indoor house pets only.  Limited delivery services may be available on a case-by-case basis, but we ask that you try your best to find your own transportation.  Hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-6pm and Monday 9am-3pm.

Please help keep our shelves stocked!

Baltimore Humane Society receives no operational funding from any government or national humane society, so we rely heavily on the public’s support.  Donations of dry cat and dog food, any brand, are especially desired.  Science Diet brand, canned or dry, is needed for the shelter animals.  Please keep those donations coming and show us the love!

For more information you can contact us by calling 410-833-8848 or email shelter@bmorehumane.org.
