VirtualThe Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park holds a monthly bereavement group to help you cope with the loss or extreme illness of a pet. Anyone whose pet has died, who has been lost, or is ailing/aging is welcome to join the group. The group meets the first Tuesday evening of each month from 7 pm – 9 pm.
The group is a haven where individuals can freely talk about their pet knowing others are interested in hearing their story. It is a place of emotional and practical support, helping participants cope with their loss. Please join our free, non-denominational group, led by a bereavement counselor. You do not need to have your pet buried in Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park to join the group. All are welcome!

Belvedere Square Trick or Treat

It's all part of Belvedere Square’s Annual “Trick or Treat at the Square” on Saturday, October 23rd from 12-3pm!. Join in this fun-filled Halloween celebration for the young and young at heart. Among the treats for families: music by DJ Chris, a spooky dance lesson and performance by The White Marsh Ballet Academy, surprises from Square merchants, food and drink specials, a costume contest (18 and under), free pumpkins (while supply lasts), and the return of trunk-or-treating! Ghosts and goblins welcome!
All activities are free, with the exception of the costume contest, which has a $5 entry fee. 100% of the proceeds from the contest will benefit the Baltimore Humane Society.

MON-WED: Grab a coffee or hot chocolate to go plus a vintage or Party in the Park t-shirt in exchange for a $20 minimum cash donation or a bag (or two) of dry cat or dog food for our food bank. We'll be waiting for tou at our donation shed from 10am-12pm each day with a few extra surprises, too!
Wags & Whiskers Wish List Drive
Help make this a Happy Holiday season for ALL the pets in our community and at our shelter! Donate to BHS’ WAGS & WHISKERS DONATION DRIVE! Your donation benefits hundreds of people who are desperately trying to care for their animals while navigating temporary financial hardship, as well as the animals at our shelter waiting for loving, forever homes. From Thanksgiving through Christmas, we are doing this special drive for pet food, treats and new toys. 30 locations to drop off donations to, as well as ordering for delivery through Chewy & Amazon!

Get ready for that wet dog smell -- It's a puppy pool party to benefit the Baltimore Humane Society!
Bring your well-behaved pups to the Middle Mill Social Pool (9700 Middle Mill Dr.) on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $15 per family. The rain date is Wednesday, Sept. 7.
The event is sponsored by the Owings Mills New Town Community Association, Inc. and all of the proceeds benefit the Baltimore Humane Society in Reisterstown.

Third Annual Blessing of the Animals
Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park 1601 Nicodemus Rd., Reisterstown, MD, United StatesJoin us for our 3rd annual Pet Blessing event on Sunday, October 2, from 2-3pm. It is a tradition in the Catholic church to hold blessings for household pets on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Saint Francis is the patron saint of animals and the environment.
Father Patrick M. Carrion from Saint Bernadette Parish, will be at Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park to perform an in-person Pet Blessing for all household pets. The public is invited to attend with their pets. Father Patrick will also bless the ashes of pets who have passed for families who wish to bring them.
