Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park 1601 Nicodemus Rd., Reisterstown, MD, United States

The Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park holds a monthly bereavement group to help you cope with the loss or extreme illness of a pet. Anyone whose pet has died, who has been lost, or is ailing/aging is welcome to join the group. The group meets the first Tuesday evening of each month from 7 pm – 9 pm.

The group is a haven where individuals can freely talk about their pet knowing others are interested in hearing their story. It is a place of emotional and practical support, helping participants cope with their loss. Please join our free, non-denominational group, led by a bereavement counselor. You do not need to have your pet buried in Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park to join the group. All are welcome!

OMNTCA’s Doggie Paddle 2022

Get ready for that wet dog smell -- It's a puppy pool party to benefit the Baltimore Humane Society!
Bring your well-behaved pups to the Middle Mill Social Pool (9700 Middle Mill Dr.) on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $15 per family. The rain date is Wednesday, Sept. 7.

The event is sponsored by the Owings Mills New Town Community Association, Inc. and all of the proceeds benefit the Baltimore Humane Society in Reisterstown.

Third Annual Blessing of the Animals

Join us for our 3rd annual Pet Blessing event on Sunday, October 2, from 2-3pm. It is a tradition in the Catholic church to hold blessings for household pets on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Saint Francis is the patron saint of animals and the environment.

Father Patrick M. Carrion from Saint Bernadette Parish, will be at Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park to perform an in-person Pet Blessing for all household pets. The public is invited to attend with their pets. Father Patrick will also bless the ashes of pets who have passed for families who wish to bring them.

Ridgely Middle School AVID Community Service Festival- With BHS Adoptable Animals

Join us at Ridgely Middle School for a fun festival featuring some adoptable animals from Baltimore Humane Society! 

This wonderful group invited Baltimore Humane Society to bring adoptable animals and will be collecting donations to support the shelter animals! They have arranged food trucks, a car wash, games, crafts and a donation center for items. The festival will take place Saturday, May 20th from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m at Ridgely Middle School (121 E Ridgely Rd, Lutherville Timonium, MD 21093).
