Hi, my name is Anne. As a mature, calm lady, I was a little nervous when I first got here. I'm getting used to the place, though. If you blink slowly at me, I will warm up to you more quickly. I'm not full of mischief like some of those young whippersnappers I've seen around here. I love the peace and quiet, and in my previous home, I liked to have my hair brushed. That's very soothing to me. I don't mind being petted, but being held is not my favorite thing. I'm kind of an independent lady.
