Pre-Surgical Instructions Print E-mail


Please read the following pre-surgical instructions carefully:

  • Schedule an appointment.

  • Bring proof of current vaccinations and testing to your appointment to receive a waiver from required services.

  • Bring a copy of all medical records to your appointment if your pet is 5 years of age or older.

    • Keep pet indoors after 8 pm on the evening prior to surgery.

    • Withhold food after midnight the night before surgery.

    • Bring each cat in an individual, labeled, clean carrier with a clean towel.

    • Bring dogs on a leash.

    • Drop-off between 8:00 - 8:30 am.  If you are late, late fees will apply.

    • Leave your pet in the car until you have completed all of the paperwork required during the drop-off.  Drop-off takes about 15-20 minutes.

    • Pay for services during the morning drop-off with cash, check, or credit card (MC, Visa, or Discover).

    • Pick up at 3:00 pm.  If you are late, late fees will apply.

    • If you need to cancel, please call at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

     

    Please do not remove your cat from its carrier upon arrival in our reception area. Cats entering a new environment can and often do react unexpectedly.
